Scandinavian Bowl metal Silver Plated This lovely scandinavian design bowl is silver plated and made by the Dutch Gero factory in the city of Zeist, founded 21 0ktober 1912. Gero short for Gerritsen & Co. Bowl Scandinave ,
The cup has been designed by danish, Georg Nilsson (GN) .

Georg Nilsson fram Danmark, has been responsible for most of the designs made by Gero, the characteristic; animal motifs, flower and leave motives, hammered surface but also sleek & functional designs.
From 1927 products designed by Georg Nilsson (GN) in Copenhagen were also made by Gero in Zeist. And after the closure of the Gero factory in Copenhagen in 1933, Georg Nilsson works in the Gero factory in Zeist Holland until his retirement in 1957.
Dated between 1912 and 1945( date when they started squaire marks, hand hammered.
In 1922 Gero opened a factory in Copenhagen, Denmark which produced mainly products for the Danish & Nordic markets. Georg Nilsson born in 1888 Denmark and trained by the famous"Georg Jensen" was hired by Gero in Copenhagen as a designer & craftsman. After the closure of the Gero factory Copenhagen, Georg Nilsson settled in the Netherlands. Georg Nilsson continues to work for Gero in Zeist until he retired in 1957. His work is characterized by, at that time 'peculiar', hammered surface and the use of animal ornaments. Before World War II Nilsson designed cutlery models that were characterized by forms of art deco, hammered form or in the form of a cartouche. After the war, his designs became sleek and functional.

Our shop is not responsable for any delay on arrival dates from your parcel, from the post office or another carrier.
Please inspect and report any damages within 3 days of receipt. Please keep all packaging should there be an issue.

Returns and exchange details

I do not accept returns based on size issues. Contact me within 2 days of delivery if there is some other issue with your order.

If we agree that there is a reason for a return, we require that it be posted promptly following our convo. If the item is returned beyond one week following our convo, a re-stocking fee of 20% will be deducted. This amount will increase by 10% for each successive week.

The item must be returned by Post with tracking numbe with all of its ORIGINAL PACKAGING including any bubble wrap, gift bag or box, insured for its purchased price, and must be received in the SAME CONDITION as when it was shipped to you and not altered in any way. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible

I try to use recycled and eco-friendly packaging as much as possible, while still keeping your product safe and intact during shipping. In the case that your fragile item needs more protection, I make sure to use 100% biodegradable packing peanuts.
