Superb quality ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED EGG CUP SET Of 4 with spoons, made in the 1920s.
This is a magnificent set, nice and shinny beautifully decorated very pretty
The tray is markedWalker & Hall Sheffield and numbered 51295 and A 1 for first quality silver plated.
It is quite special, shaped like 4 egg cups standing on a tray with 4 spoons, made in England.
The egg cups are fixed on a plate, which is not only functional, but also pretty with a beautiful filigree design embossed on the edges. Very nicely decorated and egg cups are in excellent vintage conditions no bumps or damages, only few tiny dark spots inside egg cups , reflected on price.

he business was established in Sheffield in 1845 by George Walker. Becoming an assistant of Dr. John Wright who had conducted important experiments on electroplating Walker secured the royalty of electroplating for Sheffield. The business was joined by Henry Hall and became in 1853 Walker & Hall. The factory was at Howard Street, Sheffield, while showrooms were opened in 45 Holborn Viaduct, London. Branches were opened in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Cardiff, Belfast, Hull, Bristol, Melbourne and Adelaide (Australia), Cape Town (South Africa). Walker & Hall was converted into a limited liability company in 1920 under the style Walker & Hall Ltd and combined in 1963 under the British Silverware Ltd with Mappin & Webb and Elkington & Co. Walker and Hall Sheffield were primarily Sheffield Makers, but items with Birmingham, London and Chester Assay Marks can also be found.

If we agree that there is a reason for a return, we require that it be posted promptly following our convo. If the item is returned beyond one week following our convo, a re-stocking fee of 20% will be deducted. This amount will increase by 10% for each successive week.
The item must be returned by Post with tracking numbe with all of its ORIGINAL PACKAGING including any bubble wrap, gift bag or box, insured for its purchased price, and must be received in the SAME CONDITION as when it was shipped to you and not altered in any way. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible
I try to use recycled and eco-friendly packaging as much as possible, while still keeping your product safe and intact during shipping. In the case that your fragile item needs more protection, I make sure to use 100% biodegradable packing peanuts.
No refunds will be given whilst any item is still in transit.
